Senior Consultant Tech Transaction Advisory / Strategy (m/f/d)

What we look for:

  • You advise private equity firms, financial investors, and companies on Tech & Data Due Diligences in buy- and sell-side transactions.
  • You lead and support the conception and execution of technical and digital projects by analyzing requirements, defining functional specifications, and recommending best-fit solutions and implementation approaches.
  • You assess software, system architectures, infrastructure, and development processes, and translate complex requirements into clear roadmaps (e.g., milestones, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) for delivery teams.
  • You identify growth potential and derive performance optimization measures, including the design of target operating models, investment assessments, and value creation opportunities for portfolio companies.
  • You manage stakeholder communication and ensure effective collaboration between clients, development teams, and internal stakeholders, while taking ownership of project timelines, budgets, and delivery.
  • You prepare and present business, market, and technology insights, lead workshops and meetings, develop interactive demos, and contribute to thought leadership (e.g., whitepapers, research initiatives).

What we require:

  • You hold a strong university degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, IT, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
  • You have gained at least 2-3 years of relevant experience experience in technology consulting, transaction advisory, digital transformation, or technical project delivery, ideally within a consulting or M&A environment.
  • You bring a solid understanding of software development, system architecture, infrastructure, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), as well as familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Ideally, you have hands-on experience in software development and/or machine learning.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills in evaluating complex, technology-driven business models and understand the impact of technology on scalability and product-market fit.
  • You have excellent communication skills, a collaborative and service-oriented mindset, and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
  • You are fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
