Director Digital Strategy (m/f/d)

What we look for:

  • You lead the operational development of the Digital Strategy & Execution Team across industries in close collaboration with the management team.
  • You oversee the project portfolio, including staffing, resource planning, prioritization, budgets, timelines, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • You lead or oversee end-to-end strategy and transformation engagements across growth and go-to-market, commercial and customer strategy, pricing, sales effectiveness, customer experience, cost reduction, process optimization, operating models, digital transformation, and AI.
  • You ensure that projects move from business challenges and analysis to clear decisions, prioritized initiatives, business cases, KPIs, roadmaps, and implementation.
  • You guide AI strategy and transformation work, from opportunity assessments and use-case prioritization to governance, capability building, and implementation roadmaps.
  • You advise senior client leaders, lead executive workshops, and act as a trusted advisor on strategic decisions, trade-offs, and transformation priorities.
  • You coordinate delivery across business, organization, processes, technology, data, and AI and align internal experts with client stakeholders.
  • You ensure high-quality management presentations, business cases, decision documents, client reports, and transparent project communication.
  • You build and develop high-performing teams, coach managers and consultants, support staffing and recruitment, and foster career development.
  • You drive business development, client propositions, pitches, and long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for follow-on work.
  • You strengthen methods, templates, quality assurance, thought leadership, new services, and external partnerships and represent OMMAX in relevant networks.

What we require:

  • You hold an excellent university degree in business, economics, computer science, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • You have 7+ years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, strategy, transformation, digital, AI, or a related field.
  • You have a strong track record of leading complex strategy and transformation engagements from strategy through implementation.
  • You bring broad experience across growth, commercial and customer strategy, cost efficiency, process optimization, operating models, digital transformation, and AI.
  • You have experience advising senior executives and managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • You have proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • You combine strategic and commercial judgment with a pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset.
  • You communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and represent the firm effectively.
  • You are entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and motivated to grow both client impact and OMMAX.
  • You are fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
