Group Accountant (m/f/d)

What we look for:

  • You are responsible for consolidation and the preparation of the consolidated financial statements, including coordination with auditors and tax advisors.
  • You lead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under HGB (and prospectively IFRS) for the entire group.
  • You administer the DATEV entities for the entire OMMAX Group.
  • You take overall responsibility for tax, accounting, and compliance within the OMMAX Group.
  • You support our international subsidiaries (UK, Italy, Netherlands) in all finance and accounting matters and ensure that our international financial processes are audit-ready, tax-compliant, and efficient.
  • You design and implement transfer pricing structures and intercompany reconciliations.
  • You act as the primary point of contact for accounting-related matters on both a national and international level in collaboration with external experts.
  • You ensure compliance and optimize the tax structure in an international context.
  • You continuously develop and digitalize financial processes (e.g., automation and enhanced reporting).

What we require:

  • You hold a completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Tax Law, or a comparable field.
  • You bring several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, tax, or a related area, ideally within a consulting environment or public accounting, and have experience supporting and managing tax audits.
  • You demonstrate strong expertise in tax law and the accounting of corporations.
  • You ideally have experience working with private equity investors and preparing bank reporting.
  • You are confident in using accounting software (preferably DATEV) as well as MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • You enjoy taking ownership and bring a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • You work independently and in a structured manner while maintaining a strong team orientation.
  • You are fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
